The Comparison Trap
One of my greatest deficiencies is a continuous fight that I have in my mind each time I get the paintbrush. I continually end up pondering …
"Will my work measure up?" "What will individuals consider what I made?"
"Will it be in the same class as this other planner?"
These are inquiries that experience my head for all intents and purpose each second of the day. Join them with my requirement for approbation, and there's a really decent risk that toward the end of each undertaking, I have a feeling that I didn't hit the nail on the head.

There's nothing off with questioning the methodology — we all do on occasion. I truly love what Emily Freeman says, and I totally concur with her. I used to imagine that authors of books took a long time to work out their thoughts and just when they had it superbly made sense of did they choose they may like to get it distributed.
There's such a great amount of truth in that, and I'm almost certain at one point in our life we've said the same sort of thing to ourselves. I know I have, and the begrudge that I have for authors is off the diagrams. It's the same begrudge that I have of the world class planners, and even individuals who compose music.
Defects
We all have them. Also in case you're similar to me, you have large portions of them. One critical thing that I'm adapting as a craftsman is that its ideal to grasp blemish than to expect flawlessness.
Since in all actuality nothing is great.
Each window has a break in it. Each tree has a broken limb. Each outline has a pixel out of spot. Each tune has a note sung off key.
I'm improving at accepting this, however I concede that its troublesome on occasion.
However at last, I'm trying my hardest to appreciate what I'm doing — to be fulfilled that I'm doing what I cherish, and what I feel profound in my heart I was intended to do.
… and that alone makes it worth the trouble.
